Cooking to Radiohead
"15 Steps" to a nice meal. It's always nice to spend some time with yourself after a chaotic week. At these times I prefer cooking for myself. I play some music, something that feels like a blanket on a cold morning, and I start cooking.
This time I craved soup and pasta. Both completely incomprehensible and difficult to match. Wondering what soup to make, the decision fell on a carrot almost cream soup. I boiled the carrots and made some instant vegetable stock. Then I mixed the mashed carrots with the stock. the result was a hearty weird almost cream soup, absolutely delicious. As for the pasta, the plan had been made last Wednesday.
With Radiohead as a background tune I diced the tomato and fried it up with some olive oil with some spices. Little less than half way through "In Rainbows" I had my food ready. It was like a "Jigsaw falling into place".click
