Three Day Chocolate Cake

Day one- Truffle Day



Grate 150g chocolate (preferably dark)
Bring 1cup cream to the boil.
Add the chocolate stir and let it cool for about 2 hours or more.
Watch a film and forget all about the cake.
When the film ends go to the kitchen for a glass of water, there's a good chance you'll see the chocolate. Panic. Go and get the chocolate cream and start making the truffles. Meanwhile melt about 100g chocolate to cover the truffles.



Day Two- Cream day

Grate 150 or 200g chocolate
Bring 2 cups of cream to the boil
Mix in the chocolate let it cool overnight
Go out have fun

Day Three- Official Cake Day

"Thou shall only maketh the cake on this day, thou shall only enjoyeth chocolate and speaketh of nothing else than chocolate on this day"- some lost part of the Bible

1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 package vanilla sugar
4 eggs and a pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
backing powder
1/2 cup cornstarch

Bake 6-8 layers (like pancakes) one by one.

Note: these are the ingredients for a typical baking pan (28) in case you do not have one you'll need to make some adjustments. Also if you want to save time and energy use a square baking pan and bake only two layers. Then cut the layers in 3.

Syryp: a teacup of water and 3 heaping tbs sugar.

While the dough is in the oven find someone to cream the cream with a mixer.

Take one layer and wet it with 2 tbs syrup, cover it with the fluffy cream, repeat procedure 6-8 times, decorate with truffles. The result is this:
