Six little sandwiches there on the plate
Five will be soon if you are late.

Five zucchini sandwiches covered all in cheese
Four now, one eaten with ease.

Four little sandwiches buttered and crisp
Three still there on the plate only a wisp.

Three little sandwiches almost getting cold
Two they will be before too long.

Two little sandwiches one for me one for you
