Pork and vegetables in a wok

In Harry Potter in one of the parts, while in Dumbledor's room Harry comes across an unusual object. This object, as Dumbledore explains later, is the pensive, an object which stores one's thoughts because no one has the capacity to hold everything inside oneself.

Cooking is my pensive, for some people something else functions as their pensive. But sometimes these activities do not have enough storage space and at others they cannot provide us with answers or with a different point of view. That's why there are people who care and are willing to be one's pensive and listen and talk and listen some more. Nevertheless, now I choose to write about cooking as my pensive.

I am sick and tired of all that surrounds me. I am sick and tired of the stupid laws. I am sick and tired of the drunk 14 year olds. I am sick and tired of the lack of culture. I am sick and tired of the false values that are being presented every day. I am sick and tired of the destruction of a city ,that though it is not my own, I like. So I take the chunk of pork and I imagine it is the ugliness that surrounds me and I slowly work on the process of destruction. I cut it into small thin slices so that they can never join in and become what they were. I torture the slices overnight with some soy sauce, brandy and cornstarch and some brown sugar.

One down plenty to go, I take the carrots, they are the people that create all the false values and all the nonsense that's been making me vomit. A bit of voo-doo magic. The big knife approaches and the carrots are sliced down. I take the mushrooms they are the brainless photocopied girls drinking coffee and setting the trends. One by one they shed their cover and suffer the destiny of the carrots. For colour I add some frozen green beans and for texture some peas. They have already been taken care of.

I heat up the torture pan, the wok, I heat up some oil. In goes the ugliness. Five minutes later the ugliness has been fried. Satisfied with the result I remove it from the heat, at least in this dimesion there will be ugliness no more. I put in the policy makers, the carrots, fry, fry, fry...they are joined by the mushrooms whose appearance melts into the pan, they lose their shape, they lose themselves. In go the green beans and the peas. 5 minutes in the frying pan and all this is mixed with the meat 3-5 minutes and it is ready to be fully destroyed.

Here I stand mad, sad, disgusted by everything. At least it was a delicious meal.
