The ten egg pancakes

When we were children our grandmother used to make us pancakes with ten eggs and they were absolutely delicious. They could be combined with anything salty or sweet. You could eat them with cheese or with chocolate cream -еурокрем mmm.

I'm sure that you're puzzled by now. What woman , grandmother, in her right mind would give her children, grandchildren, such an unhelathy food full of cholesterol? Of course the standard pancake recipie includes eggs,at least two, four tops. But 10 egg pancakes that's outrageously unhealthy!!!.

Anyway, the pancakes are made like all the standard pancakes add a pinch of salt add liquids add flour add liquids add flour
add liquids add flour add liquids add flour add liquids add flour add liquids add flourand so on. Then fry and flip, fry and flip, fry and flip, then somebody else takes your place and fries and flips the pancakes.

NB: MAKING PANCAKES IS A GROUP ACTIVITY, ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE AROUND TO FRY AND FLIP THE PANCAKES.

Put the first ten pancakes aside. Take a clove of garlic peel it and crush it with 1 tsp salt and a bit of oil. Add 2 glasses of water to the mixture. Take one pancake put it in a deep dish and sprinkle a bit of the garlic dip, take another pancake and repeat the procedure until you're out of pancakes.
Let it rest until the other pancakes are ready to be served.

Serve the pancakes. Cut the pancakes with garlic and serve like a cake. Garlic is healthy :)

By the way did I mention that either the one or the zero was missing from the ten?

Cultural note: Pancakes with 0 eggs and just flour and water are made for the Orthodox Christian Christmas Eve (Коледе) They should be smaller and thicker than regular pancakes and there are two variatons one savoury and one sweet. The savoury variation is the above mentioned garlic dip, whreas the sweet are drowned in honey and sprinkled with grated wallnuts.
